Altos de Chavon of Casa de Campo
Altos de Chavón is a place like no other—a replica 16th century Mediterranean village in the heart of the Dominican countryside. The village is a cultural center for residents, tourists, and working artists from all over the world. The Art Gallery features works from noted Dominican artists, as well as international artists. Other sites within Altos de Chavon include an archaeological museum, offering a glimpse into the fascinating history of the area, the St. Stanislaus Church, 5,000-seat amphitheater, and sweeping views of the Chavón River and the Caribbean Sea, as well as shops and galleries.
Minitas Beach
Minitas Beach is conveniently located right in the middle of it all, so you never have to go far for a little sun and sand. There’s also plenty to do here, from a variety of watersports, to indulging in a relaxing massage in our open-air pavilion. Not to mention the quintessential Minitas Beach experience, enjoying one of our famous piña coladas served in a fresh, local pineapple. But perhaps the best thing about Minitas Beach is that it’s a private, unspoiled haven with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for kicking back and relaxing from the comfort of a chaise lounge chair.
Horseback Riding
Hacienda Higüeral is a beautiful historic ranch just 20-minutes away from Casa de Campo. A working farm, horses and cattle are bred and raised here. Visitors can see cowboys hard at work leading the herds, and have the opportunity to explore the scenic sugar cane fields, open pastures, and peaceful lagoons. Horseback riding is included with the all-inclusive fee of your stay at Casa de Campo. Reservations can be made upon arrival.
Teeth of the Dog Golf Course, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas
Teeth of the Dog Golf Course is ranked the #1 Golf Course in the Caribbean and #27 in the world. This course features 18 jaw-droppingly-beautiful holes—including seven right along the ocean. There are two additional courses available on the property, Dye Fore and The Links.
Catalina Island Beach Day Excursion
Experience and explore six-square miles of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. On the Catamaran ride over, relax on spacious sundecks and shaded lounges or dance to a merengue beat!
