John liked Larissa’s Hinge profile on July 15th, 2025 and they began texting immediately. After texting for almost a week, John asked Larissa on a first date. Larissa agreed but told him he had to wait because she was leaving for Florida the next day and would be gone for a week. John (thankfully) waited for Larissa to get back from her trip. They went on their first date on July 30th, 2025. They had dinner at Valentina’s where their server, Jersey, found out it was a first date. Jersey made it her mission to make John and Larissa feel slightly awkward but also to enhance conversation and bring positive energy. After dinner, they walked to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream to enjoy dessert. The date ended by having their first kiss at the open top floor of the parking garage. It was the last first date either of them would ever go on! Valentina’s is a very special place to John and Larissa. They occasionally make dinner reservations there and always request their favorite server, Jersey.
