We spent the day exploring the Oregon coast. First stop was Cape Perpetua Lookout- the view was breathtaking standing more than 800ft above the pacific ocean. Next up we explored the tidal pools at Seal Rock before stopping in Newport for dinner. We were on our way home, reminiscing about how perfect the day was, when we noticed the beautiful sunset. We pulled off the road and found ourselves on a secluded beach where we could watch the sunset together. Smooth little rocks scattered across the sand as they washed up from the ocean. Connor suggested we find each other one to take home so that we would always remember this perfect day. I walked along the shoreline and said "I found your rock!" Connor was behind me and said "I found yours too." When I turned around he was on one knee, ring in hand, and a huge smile on his face. Needless to say the rock he found was definitely better than mine.
