Dinner and dancing will be in the same banquet room immediately following the ceremony.
Please arrive beforehand to find your seat on the seating chart. Otherwise we will ask that you wait in the lobby of the event center until after the bride has walked down the aisle. We have a strict guest list; only those mentioned by name (including children) are invited. We wish it were possible to spend this day with every single person we love, and we will be prioritizing spending time with those we were not able to invite after our honeymoon.
The entrance of the Event Center is through the Mounds View Community Center front doors. Upon entering you will see signage and the Event Center entrance directly ahead to the left.
There is a large parking lot with free parking for everyone.
For those unable to attend in person, we will have a Zoom link to share with anyone who would like to connect for the ceremony.
We will not be having alcohol at our wedding. We ask that everyone respects these wishes and the rules of the event center, and does not bring in outside alcohol.
We are conscious of the gluten and dairy allergies of a few of our friends and family members, and will have food options that work for everyone. If anyone has any other severe allergies, please let us know ahead of time to be able to label any food with other allergens.
For our out of state friends and family - February in Minnesota is typically very cold and snowy, with average highs in the 20s (Fahrenheit) and lows often dropping below 10. By the end of the month, however, it is (hopefully) warming up slightly. February is considered one of the snowiest months of the year! Depending on sizing, we might have an extra coat to borrow if you don't have one warm enough.
As of now, we do not have hotel blocks for out of town guests. We have arrangements planned out for different accomodations so no one overspends on lodging, but hotel blocks can be arranged if people would prefer.
Your presence is enough of a present, but if you would like to give a gift, we would also love a contribution to our adventure fund. Since we are consolidating two households, we'd love to focus on experiences over things.
