That conversation led to their first meeting at Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida, where they bonded over laughter and Checkers fries. From that day on, Ana and Chris were inseparable. On January 10, 2016, Chris asked Ana to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a journey filled with love, laughter, travels, and shared dreams. Together, they have shared countless adventures, making trips to different cities in the United States and building memories along the way. Their love extends to their family of four paws: Canela, their loyal companion who has been with Ana since she was 14 years old and is known and adored by her family, and Brandon, a rescue pup they welcomed into their lives in November 2023. On October 23, 2024 —This date being Ana’s grandmother, Ana Maria Miranda Ortiz’s birthday—Chris planned a heartfelt proposal during a special trip to Puerto Rico, Ana’s birthplace. Against the historic and romantic backdrop of El Morro in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, Chris asked Ana to marry him, and she said yes! Their wedding day, January 10, 2026, holds profound significance.
