Question

Who is a part of our wedding party?

Answer

We both have lots of friends and family who will be by our sides on our big day. Our "Wedding Party" tab lets you put names to faces, and get to know our loved ones!

Question

Have we reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved 10 rooms at the Holiday Inn in Hope Mills, under “CSW” or "Chatham-Smith Wedding". The address is 3111 N Main Street, Hope Mills, NC 28348, and the phone number is 910.429.9990. For more information about our hotel block, you can check under our "Travel" tab.

Question

What is the dress code for our wedding?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is "semi-formal". What does that mean? It's a dress code that calls for special event clothing that's trendy, relaxed and comfortable. Think of the dress code as attire that is dressier than what you would wear to work, but not as formal as what you would wear to black-tie or formal events. Men, we ask that you avoid wearing jeans and polo shirts please. Any color, pattern and style is welcome, we just ask that you don't wear all white to allow the bride to stand out! For a better understanding of what "semi-formal" means and looks like, you can visit https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained#toc-semi-formal-or-dressy-casual for inspo!

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Our wedding will be late March, so the weather will be cooler. The historic average weather in Parkton, NC has been a high of 67° and a low of 41°, usually with a nice breeze. There may be some showers in the morning, followed by a couple of showers in the afternoon, so plan to bring a sweater and umbrella!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we simply can’t allow for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

As much as we would love lots of littles celebrating with us, we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our reception. Thank you!

Question

What type of food will be served at our wedding?

Answer

During cocktail hour, we will be serving hors d'oeuvres, followed by a buffet dinner. There will be a wide variety of food to choose from that will accommodate any dietary restrictions that our guests may have!
