We met during a birthday dinner for a friend. Halfway through the night, seats were changed and we found ourselves sitting across from each other. Little did we know, we were staring into the eyes of the person we would be spending the rest of our lives with. We had a few small conversations through the night, but it wasn't until a couple of months later that he finally reached out. From that day on, it has been endless laughs and a forever best friend.

The proposal was a total surprise! We took a spontaneous trip to Atlantic City and wound up spending the night. Little did I know, Chris had been holding on to the ring for almost a month waiting for the perfect moment. Being that this was going to be my first time in Atlantic City, he thought this would be a great time to propose. I am so thankful that the timing for his original plan did not work out- his plan was to create a total scene in the casino, tell me that he no longer wanted me to be his girlfriend, and then get on his knee to ask me to be his wife instead. Needless to say, I would have flipped out (and likely said no... just kidding) but I am very glad the casino provided me with enough "free" alcohol to make that plan impossible. The following morning as we were getting ready to leave, I walked into the room to find the man who fills my heart and soul with love, holding a ring while on his knee. At first I thought he was joking and almost offered to help him get up, but when I saw his nervous hands shaking, I knew he was serious. This was the most exciting day of my life (so far).
