FAQs

If you have questions other than what we've listed here please contact the bride/groom directly or email us at foreversmidten@gmail.com
Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail it in?

Answer

Once you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP online! There will be an RSVP code in your invitation but you can also RSVP directly on this website.

Question

Do I RSVP for the ceremony and reception separately?

Answer

"No" Your RSVP will be accepted for both events. We are just as excited to conduct our ceremony with all of our loved ones as we are to party it up with you.

Question

What if I RSVP "no" but my circumstances change?

Answer

If you RSVP "no" but something changes after the RSVP deadline, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate you at the reception; though, we would still LOVE to see you at the church ceremony.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered directly on Zola as well as on Williams Sonoma and Amazon. Please navigate to the "Registry" tab above to see all options.

Question

Where should we bring/send wedding gifts?

Answer

If you choose to honor us with a gift, please opt to have it delivered to our home. In the case of the bridal shower, shipping to our home or bringing to the event is at your own discretion.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are blessed to have so many loved ones that we want to celebrate with, therefore our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. (You may not bring another guest in place of a named invitee.)

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

"No" As much as we love your families, we've opted to make this wedding childfree so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We do appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

"Black-Tie" We want to see all of our favorite people dressed to the nines!

Question

Does Black-tie mean I have to wear all black?

Answer

"No" Black-tie is just a fancy word for formal attire: Long dresses, tuxedos/formal suits. Please show up in any color you feel good in....except for whites-creams of course ;).

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

"No" The ceremony will be held at a church and the reception will be held at a separate venue later in the afternoon. Transportation to and from the church will be guest responsibility; however, there will be a shuttle between the hotel and reception venue.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be indoors!

Question

Is parking free?

Answer

"Yes" There are free parking lots at both the ceremony and reception venues. Just make sure you have some cash on you to tip the valet drivers at the reception. (There will be no valet at the ceremony).

Question

Will there be a shuttle for the ceremony?

Answer

"No" There will *not* be a shuttle between the hotel and the church venue so please plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin *promptly* at 3:00pm, therefore we kindly advise you to arrive 10-15min before the ceremony start time. This should give you plenty of time to park and get settled in your seats.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

"Yes" Please navigate to the "Travel" tab above for information regarding your stay.

Question

Will there be a shuttle for the reception?

Answer

"Yes" There will be one roundtrip shuttle between the hotel and reception venue (the Venetian).

Question

What time will the shuttle be operating?

Answer

The shuttle will leave the hotel at 6:15pm and will leave the reception at 11:45pm. Please arrive to the shuttle 5-10min before departure. There will *not* be any trips during the reception.

Question

Is there a gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

"Yes" Since the events are at separate locations we have allotted for a generous time gap to allow for travel and hotel check-in.

Question

Will there be any special dietary options at the reception?

Answer

"Yes" If you have vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free needs please let your servers know and they will provide the necessary substitutions.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

"No" Our ceremony will be strictly unplugged! When we look back on our photos we want to see all of your beautiful faces, not your phones. Don't worry, we've chosen a fantastic vendor dedicated to capturing every moment with photo and video. We thank you in advance for honoring this request and leaving the devices in your pockets for the ceremony.

Question

Can I take pictures at the reception?

Answer

"Yes" At this point we'd encourage you to take pictures of yourself enjoying the party and capturing your favorite moments. We just ask that you be mindful of the professionals who will be photographing and recording the event.

Question

Will you share the professional wedding photos?

Answer

"Yes" 100%! We promise to digitally share all photos.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

"Yes" There will be an open bar with top shelf liquor but we encourage you to bring some cash to tip the skilled bartenders.

Question

I have a question not featured, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please contact the bride or groom directly or email us at foreversmidten@gmail.com.
