COVID-19 Update

We understand that things are changing daily in regards to the coronavirus. And let me tell you, planning a wedding during a pandemic is not something I wish on anyone! Because we will be looking at these photos for the rest of our lives and want to remember the happy time instead of the pandemic, we are asking that our guests refrain from wearing masks or face coverings. If this request makes you uncomfortable and you are no longer able to attend we completely understand and just ask that you let us know as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for honoring our wishes. Our venue has plenty of outdoor space perfect for social distancing should you choose to do so. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer available as well. We certainly hope to see you there! xoxo Brit & Eric

How We Met

Swipe Right!

Although no one believes us, we met on the dating app Tinder back in 2015 before “super likes” were even a thing. If you match with someone on Tinder you have the ability to message them and start a conversation. Eric was apparently never going to message me so I reached out to him first saying how adorable his daughter was. His response “Thanks, she gets it from her dad!” and now here we are four years later, getting married! Our first date was at the Drive In to see The Minion Movie. We sat on the hood of the subie (I sat on a sweatshirt because I had Miss Me jeans on and didn’t want to scratch his car) and talked the entire time. In the process he broke his driverside windshield wiper and of course it poured down rain on the way home! We’ve been inseperable ever since!

The Proposal

We were on vacation with Eric’s family in Palm Beach, Florida when he asked me to marry him. We went to the beach for what I thought were family pictures one morning. Eric’s mom and step dad had pictures taken walking away from the photographer and then turning around and walking back, so did his sister and her family. Then it was our turn. Eric and I each grabbed one of Kaydee’s hands and we started walking down the beach. I asked him if we should turn around and he shrugged his shoulders so I peeked back over my shoulder and saw his family holding signs that said “Will you marry me?” and when I turned back around he was down on one knee. I cried. It was perfect.
