We initially met 13 years ago in Charleston, South Carolina at a job where we both were employed. Over the years, we would ironically cross paths at different social events, out of town and etc. Then during the summer of 2020, we bumped into each other once again. While at local bar, Jade thought she noticed Kurtis in her peripheral vision at the end of the bar. But when she turned around, he was gone! So, Jade thought nothing of it. Two days later, Kurtis slid into Jade's direct messages (DM’s) on social media and finally "shot his shot"! There was an instant connection. For a year, we developed an amazing friendship. A bond truly built on laughter, music, food and love. In 2021, we took our friendship to the next level and made our relationship official. After two and half years of dating, Kurtis proposed to Jade on her birthday September 2, 2023! And she said Yes! Now we are excited to say “I do", and begin our next chapter of life together as husband and wife.
