WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Alex and Ashley met in high school. They had mutual friends and some classes together. Eventually he asked for her number and they started texting everyday as well as hanging out more and more frequently.

Shortly after Alex and Ashley exchanged numbers and started talking more, they caught feelings for each other. It took awhile to get there (at least in Ashley's mind), but they went on their first official date 01.11.2014. He took her to The Cheesecake Factory and then bowling. It was truly an amazing night. The next day, 01.12.2014, Alex asked Ashley to be his girlfriend.

It was Friday, November 20th and Alex and Ashley were on their way to get dinner. Alex was driving and by the way that he was going, Ashley thought they were going down to the Loop to eat at one of the many restaurants down there. She thought that until Alex had turned as if he was heading to the St. Louis Zoo. Ashley started to question where they were going and Alex just kept saying "You'll see." He drove past the art museum and past Art Hill and parked near the zoo. When he put the car in park, he turned to Ashley and said "Will you go for a walk with me?" They got out of the car and walked towards the zoo to one of the gated parts where you can look inside. It was beautiful! The St. Louis Zoo was decorated with all of their christmas lights. Ashley was looking at the lights when she turned around to say something to Alex, and there he was, sitting on one knee with a ring box in his hands. He said the sweetest things followed by a question Ashley was so eager to scream yes to, "Will you marry me?"
