How do I book my accomodations at the resort? Will I be required to stay at the resort?

Caribbean Travel Queen is our travel agent & booking accommodations will be through this company. All of our guests are required to stay on site for the duration of our wedding. Local guests "may" be able to book a separate accommodation on a case by case basis with the consent and approval of Jessica and Bashiru.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Montego Bay Sangster International Airport is the closest airport to Princess Grand Resort. It is 1 hour & 55 km from the resort. * As a reminder, flights cannot be booked with the travel agent & must be booked independently. How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Guests who have booked their accommodations with Caribbean Travel Queen will receive roundtrip transportation to/from the airport. *Local guests and guests who have been approved to book a separate accommodation will be responsible for their own transportation.

Will I need a Visa to travel to Jamaica?

Answer

All U.S. citizens are not required to purchase a visa for travel to Jamaica for under 90 days. All U.S. permanent residents need to check the travel requirements for their country of origin. Can I bring a guest, a plus one, or children?

Unfortunately, NO! This is an invite ONLY wedding. The only children who are invited are the children of the wedding party-due to childcare constraints. Thank you so much for understanding & respecting our wishes!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie attire and/or Traditional African attire. NO White, Ivory, Green, and Red! OPTIONAL: Yellow, gold, or orange color schemes!

What currency is used in Jamaica?

Answer

The Jamaican Dollar or JMD. $1 USD = $160 JMD (this is the price for a soda, for context). *Currency can be exchanged at the following establishments: Airport, Western Union, Cambio, Bank ATM's, etc.. *Most establishments accept major debit/credit cards, tap payments, and Apple Pay.

Is there a wedding registry or do you prefer cash gifts?

We prefer and strongly encourage cash gifts and/or gift cards. NO box gifts please & thank you!
