As Breana would describe it, they had their own romance novel worthy, “forbidden office romance” story. Back in November 2014, Breana and Peter first met as Breana was onboarding for her new job with House of Lashes and Peter was managing and running his own company. Jenn, the CEO, was introducing Breana to her brother, Peter. Peter and Breana grew close the first few months, bonding off of food (steak and tacos), movies, and funnily enough, their work. Fun Fact: Unbeknownst to the CEO (and his sister), Jenn’s work requests for Breana was strengthening the connection with Peter.

They eventually went on their first date on Christmas day of 2014 spending time together watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Their spark ignited. They both recognized similarities in their playful energy and enjoyed spending time together. Then, the next major date came around on New Years Eve of 2014, where they had a double date at Downtown Disney and rang in the new year of 2015. Although Peter never officially asked Breana to be his girlfriend (remember this key fact), they have always considered New Years Eve their official anniversary. After that, they were nearly inseparable; they were sneaking around to spend time together, from lunches at work or hanging out after hours. During May 2015, Peter notified his full family (and the CEO) that they were together and they were off to their forever “dating” story.

Fast forward to 7 years later, heading into their 8 year anniversary, Peter popped the question on November 24th, 2022 (Thanksgiving) with the help of both his sister Jenn and her sister, Mia. While Mia was getting the ring details and secretly ensuring Breana would be ready, Jenn was working with Peter on figuring out the proposal. On Thanksgiving, there was of course a feast, followed by lots of games. All of their family were playing the final game with the rules being: You had to draw a number Find the cup associated with that number. Once you find the cup, you open it to see what you get or have to do (some had candies, some had dares, and some had money). We were in the the final round, Breana was last to go and pulled the final number, #8 (hint, hint). Breana found the cup and saw a paper; She was thinking “oh goodness not a dare”. She read the paper and it stated “Today is your last day as a girlfriend.” She turned around to Peter on his knee and he asked, “Will you be my forever girlfriend?” Filled with tears and love, Breana said YES!

Now, we are here, having all of you join us near and far to celebrate our kick off to FOREVER! Our Wedding Day is going to be all about being with all of you. Each of you have had a significant place in our paths and we can’t wait for you to see us off to our next journey. Our Wedding is meant to be about who we are, authentically.
