They had both just about given up on love and dating and weren't expecting much... They were both questioning whether it was worth going on yet another date... They were both blown away by how much better their date looked than expected... They were both far too certain way too soon that they had found their future spouse... Ryan and Tara clicked as soon as they met. Tara, the self-proclaimed non-romantic pragmatist found herself thinking 30 minutes into their first date "I think this is how it was supposed to feel the first time" and then promptly telling herself "That's super silly, Tara!". Ryan found himself blurting out at the end of their first date "You're a lot." (And let's be honest, she is.) Time together came easily. Between dates that lasted longer than shifts at your high school job, and phone conversations that weren't much shorter, it didn't take long before we felt like old friends. We know that we have much more to learn about each other, and we couldn't be more excited about this journey we have started! We are confident that we know what matters: We have found someone worth committing to, worth trusting, and worth doing life with. We were both seeking a faithful spouse to study with and grow closer to God with. We were incredibly encouraged by how easily scripture worked into all of our conversations. It became apparent very quickly that we were looking for the same things in a marriage as well as life in general. Our love came easily, as it has been built on the foundation of God's love for us from the beginning. As we have begun to meet each other's friends and family it is abundantly clear that we simply fit, and we belong together! We are anxious to celebrate this future with our loved ones and see where this love that God has blessed us with continues to take us! Ryan has been ready for months to shout from the rooftops: "I LOVE TARA!" Tara might not be as boistrous about it, but she's just as enthusiastic!
