I remember 2014 scrolling on instagram, saw a girl that caught my eye thinking damn okay who is she? DM'ing her straight and getting shut down like crazy, didn't stop till i got the message she wasn't into me which lowkey sucked but thinking hey thats life. Fast forward to 2024 I went out of Auckland for a birthday and put up an Instagram story of the sunrise at the beach and not long after that I got a reply to my story from @laydmiaaa saying "Wow thats so serene!" (with a kiss and a wink emoji) not knowing it was her sliding in my DMs this time. Started talking while she was in NY so I like to think we met in Time Square haha the first time we actually first met, she met my parents at the same time and on that same day she forced me to change my room around cause it was too much of a boys room lol tbh thats when I knew i was inlove but did I tell her? No way! Now I've decided to make her the luckiest woman alive and marry her ...
