Basically the royal wedding.

Kayla and Mike met at their job in Plymouth. Kayla had been working there already for a couple of years. One afternoon in June of 2016, she arrives for her shift and notices a new guy and is asked to train him. She noticed his nice, warm smile. Mike notices how funny she was and is captivated by the scent of her perfume. Over the next few months, they spent time hanging out with co-workers after their shifts and grew closer as time went on. Making each other laugh constantly and talking to each other every day. In April of 2017, Mike asked Kayla if he could cook her dinner one night. Excitedly, Kayla said yes. Kayla went over to Mike’s house where he had made her favorite dinner (Pasta Alfredo) by scratch. He lit a candle and the two of them spent the night talking and laughing over wine. They quickly realized how well they fit together like two pieces of a perfect puzzle. On February 14, 2020, Mike asked Kayla not to make any plans because he had a surprise planned for her. Kayla was aware this was Valentine’s Day but she didn’t think too much of it because she doesn’t care for Valentine’s Day. Kayla went to work that morning and was surprised with a bouquet of roses delivered from Mike. After work Mike took her out for dinner to their favorite restaurant in Plymouth. After dinner, Mike drove by the waterfront-something she loves to do all the time. Mike suddenly stops the car with Kayla confusingly noticing a giant lit up heart in Brewster Gardens. Mike asks to take a walk to get a closer look. With it being an extremely cold night, Kayla, confused and reluctant agrees out of curiosity. They sat on the bench, overlooking the water in front of the beautiful pink and red illuminated heart. He then unzips his jacket pocket, pulls out a box, gets down on one knee and begins telling Kayla how much he loved her and how much their life together has been amazing before asking her to marry him. Kayla was so surprised and said YES! And jumped into Mike’s arms.
