Marissa and I have been friends since 10th grade back in 2010–2011, and from the very beginning our friendship just clicked. Over the years we’ve shared so many laughs, tears, late-night talks, and unforgettable memories together. Through every stage of life, she has been one of my most constant and supportive friends. Now getting to see her as “Aunty Risa” to my babies makes our friendship even more special. Watching the love she has for them fills my heart, and it’s just another reminder of the amazing person she is. I’m so grateful for all the years of friendship we’ve shared and so happy to celebrate this beautiful new chapter in her life.

I’m Nivean Taylor, 1/2 matrons of honor. I met Ris my freshman year of high school when my family moved into our apartment complex in the summer of 2008. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. She has been a constant in my life through every season, and I’m incredibly grateful to call her my sister. I feel so lucky to stand by her side and can’t wait to watch her step into and fulfill yet another beautiful chapter of her life.
