Ivanna and Abraham first met on Facebook at 16, though they didn’t meet in person until they were 18. At the time, Abraham lived in New York and Ivanna in Florida, but distance didn’t stop their connection. Life took them on separate paths, but in 2023, they reconnected and this time, it was meant to be. Their love officially began on January 1, 2024, and their first date at Central Park marked the beginning of something unforgettable. Later that year, on December 26, 2024, Abraham proposed at the Christmas Wonderland Fair, a place extra special to Ivanna, who visits every year with her sister and best friend. Sharing the same Garifuna cultural background brought them even closer, creating a deep bond rooted in understanding and shared traditions. They love traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, binge-watching shows, listening to music, dancing, and laughing together. One of their favorite adventures was visiting the Dominican Republic, their favorite place in the world and now, they are thrilled to return to the island where it all began to celebrate their wedding. Ivanna and Abraham can’t wait to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends, making memories, sharing laughter, and dancing the night away as they begin the next chapter of their story together.
