Are you required to get COVID tested before the wedding?

Answer

Your safety is our number one priority. We are asking all our guest to please be COVID-19 tested before the event. We plan to get tested prior to our wedding as well. For your conveneince, please see the following link for state COVID information. https://floridahealthcovid19.gov

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and/or tie.

Are masks required?

Answer

Yes, we politely request all guests to wear a mask within 6 feet of each other, unless explicitly known the other party is comfortable. Masks may be taken off for drinking and eating.

There will be sanitizing stations set up at the ceremony and reception.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour, serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 20min before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

For the ceremony there will be a fee for parking ($1.50 per vehicle.) It would be a good idea to car pool. Parking at the reception is free.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Due to the short time we have till our wedding date please RSVP before February 7th 2021.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #Lopez4ever21 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will be serving Buffet style Caribbean Cuisine. Staff will be serving the buffet so no guest touches or handles the utensils until the end of the food table when their plate is handed.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we do not have a wedding registry. Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we’d greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon.
