We’ve known each other for more than half of our lives, and that’s honestly the most special part of our story. Our journey began back when we were just kids at Pershing Middle School. Jamarquis was getting off the bus, and we were introduced by one of my matrons of honor. It was a simple moment that neither of us could have known would change our lives forever. From that day on, we grew up side by side, remaining close friends through middle school and high school, slowly developing a crush on each other that felt as natural as it was inevitable. Right before heading off to college, that friendship turned into something more. Like many young love stories, our path wasn’t perfectly smooth. As young adults, life pulled us in different directions, and we spent years apart, growing and learning separately. But fate had other plans. When we found our way back to each other, it felt like coming home. From the moment we reconnected, everything fell into place, and since 2019, we’ve been completely inseparable. What we share now is deeper, stronger, and built on years of friendship, growth, and unconditional love. Today, our love has grown beyond just the two of us. We are so blessed to share our lives with our beautiful daughter and our son, who have filled our hearts in ways we never imagined. Becoming parents together has been the greatest adventure and the sweetest chapter of our story so far. As we step into this next season as a family, we are filled with gratitude, excitement, and so much love for what’s ahead. Cheers to forever and to a lifetime of love, laughter, and growing together.
