Michael and Alexandra met on October 4, 2018, when their mutual friend Cameron decided to go out and celebrate his birthday. What started as a casual Thursday night out ended up being the beginning of their story. Michael was too cool for the dance floor, sitting in the VIP section with his feet on the couch, but he couldn’t stop watching Alex out there. When the night ended, the party continued down the street. First, Alex needed to stop by her house to grab her hula hoop. She looked over and said, “Michael is coming with me.” Michael shrugged and said, “You heard her.” Before the night was over, he made sure to get her number. If you know Alex well, you know she is always on the go. She played a little hard to get, but Michael stayed persistent. A few years later, fate stepped in at a stoplight. Michael pulled up and noticed a familiar personalized license plate. He looked over, and there was Alex. He rolled down his window and said, “No way! What’s up?” Alex laughed, realizing it was a lot harder to dodge texts in person. Michael had just left the barber shop and had a box of wings on the passenger seat. He held them up and asked if she wanted some. It was an offer she couldn’t refuse. She lived just two blocks away, and Michael followed her back to her apartment. From that day on, they were inseparable, spending nearly every day together and creating one adventure after another.
