We're Getting Married

It was the summer of 08, we first met outside my front door when Lincoln's cousin attempted to set him up with my niece. Despite speaking over the phone, they had never met in person until that day. As luck would have it, my niece was living with me at the time. Lincoln and his cousin came over, and upon seeing each other, my niece and Lincoln knew it was not meant to be due to a significant height difference. However, we all spent the day together, chatting, laughing, and playing games, allowing us to get to know each other. Our college schedules were similar, so we had ample time to talk and learn more about each other. To my surprise, I discovered that his little brother went to the same high school as I did, his godbrother was my high school classmate and Lincoln played on the same football team as my best friend. The craziest coincidence was that my mom and he shared the same birthday! It seemed as if our worlds could have collided long ago. One evening, during a game of truth or dare, we were dared to go on a date, and from that moment on, the rest was history!
