There is no clear “how we met” date because Molly and Chris met as friends some time in the fall of 2003 when they were both freshmen in high school. Molly and Chris went to brother/ sister schools in Worcester County, Chris went to St. John’s High in Shrewsbury and Molly went to Notre Dame Academy in Worcester. They were introduced through his cousin Tina, who is mutually one of their favorite people. Essentially, Molly and Chris have known each other for over half of their lives! They’ve shared many memories and moments together that lots of couples don’t get to--they took driver’s ed together, went to all the same proms (never together though), hung out with the same groups of people, went to the same sporting events and parties, “dated” each other’s friends, went to the Worcester bars together when we were finally of age (and when we weren't, whoops), the list goes on and on… Throughout high school and college Molly and Chris were always constants in each other’s lives, just not romantically. However, that all changed at Kenny Chesney's annual Country Fest in 2009. And after years of, "are we dating?".... "are we not...?" they solidified their relationship and the rest is history....

The proposal was a complete surprise to EVERYONE because Chris did not tell a soul! Chris had actually planned on popping the question while walking the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine the weekend of February 24th, but could not find the right time to do it in private. Instead, on that lazy Sunday, February 26th, when Molly thought they were just going to run some errands at Home Depot and grab lunch at Panera, Chris had another idea up his sleeve (since he just could not hold it in anymore!). On their couch at home, he popped the question and they were able to celebrate with their families all night long who came from near and far! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!! See you in September!
