In late August 2018, Erin caught Justin’s eye at the Alumni Center at the University of Houston while the athletes were taking headshots. Justin noticed a beautiful girl walking by carrying a little dog and couldn’t help but wonder who she was. Over the next few years, they exchanged the occasional Instagram DM, but the timing never quite aligned. Then, during one house party in the middle of COVID, everything changed. What started as a long-overdue conversation quickly turned into something neither of them expected.
