Our sorority and fraternity were paired up to preform a dance together during Greek Week at Cleveland State University. We were paired up as partners for the dance (the tallest guy with one of the shortest girls) and continued to meet up at parties and get togethers. Our first date was at Barrio in downtown Cleveland. Finally on September 23, 2017, we flipped a coin to decide if we were officially going to be in a relationship. Yes. We flipped a coin. The odds were in our favor.

Scene: Nashville, Tennessee at 11:00pm in our hotel room. Just turned out the lights and said good night to each other. Jared: "Can I ask you a question?" Cassidy: "Sure." Jared: "Will you marry me?" Cassidy: "Are you joking?" Jared: "No, I'm not joking. Will you marry me?" Cassidy: "LOL you're lying." Jared: "I'm not lying!" Cassidy: "Well I don't believe you." Jared: "Do you need me to ask you again?" Cassidy: "Yea, one more time." Jared: "Cassidy, will you marry me?" Cassidy: "Yes" <3
