The story isn't the most exciting but was definitely a dream come true. Thanks to online dating, Ryan messaged me with a simple "Hey :)" on POF and responding was the best decision I had ever made. We talked non-stop daily, and we each made the trip back and forth from Peoria to Apache Junction 2-3 times a week (that's about 65+ miles one way). We quickly jumped into living together because we simply couldn't live without the other. Just a few short months after moving into our first home, we added a fur baby, Luna, to our little family. So, within 8 months of meeting, we had started a life together and only got more and more excited for our future.

With most of our relationship being in the Covid era, we were not able to travel as much as we had wanted in the first couple years of our relationship. Come January 2022, we were finally headed on our first vacation together and to no surprise, Katie chose Disneyland. I happily agreed with her choice as it was always a place I'd go to with my mom growing up. Katie had always mentioned wanting to get engaged at the magical park and I wanted to make that come true for her. On Saturday January 22, 2022, which happened to be our 3 year anniversary, I knelt down on one knee right in between both parks and asked Katie to be mine for the rest of my life.
