We're getting married!

Daniel and Ariella met on Bumble in 2020. According to Ariella, Daniel took a while to actually ask her out, but once he did, the rest was history. According to Dan, he would have asked Ariella out a lot sooner had she answered her phone :) Their first date was at an Italian restaurant called Aunt Jakes on the Upper East Side. It was delicious, and in hindsight, very typical of their dates—they finished 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, dessert, and 2 full bottles of wine. Fast forward to 2022—Daniel somehow convinced Ariella to leave Manhattan and moved into their first apartment in Hoboken together! According to Teddy (their first born fur child), this apartment was awesome. Despite Teddy's desire to stay in Hoboken forever, Daniel and Ariella broke their lease and moved into their first house in Bloomfield just 9 months later! Daniel asked Ariella to marry him just two weeks after their move to Bloomfield. She came home from a long day at work in the city to find rose petals on the ground leading toward the basement and "Angel" by Shaggy playing in the background (on their very cool refrigerator that plays music!!) It was the easiest "yes" she's ever given! It took Teddy a few months to adjust to the new place, but ultimately she started to feel a bit better about the move and the large number of steep stairs...that is until Sonny came along. Sonny Forstot, Daniel and Ariella's second fur child, came home on September 17th, 2023, and he quickly made their family whole! Not right away though unfortunately. In the first few weeks, Daniel and Ariella were sleep deprived, and Teddy wanted to murder him, but eventually, they all came to realize that Sonny was the goodest boy! While Daniel and Ariella are sad that Teddy and Sonny won't be there on their big day, they truly can't wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!
