Lani has always been Kassanda's Rory Gilmore, Blair Waldorf, and Carrie Bradshaw.

Tarek is a Data Scientist in Dallas, Texas. He first met Erik when they were two years old after their sisters became friends. Having 25 years of friendship has made them more like brothers than friends. Their lives are defined by their friendship, the rest is just details.

Melissa is a software engineer in the DC area. She first met Kassandra while living in the same freshman dorm at James Madison University. They later moved off campus and became roommates for two years. Melissa has been Kassandra's international travel buddy, as well as her local brunch partner.

TJ is a former Army engineer living in the DC area. He was Erik's first friend at the Virginia Military Institute when they were assigned roommates the summer before their freshman year. TJ's exuberance and sense of humor have always been a beacon of hope through difficult times.

Kate is a third grade teacher in the Richmond area. Kassandra and Kate first met during their undergraduate studies at James Madison University, as they shared many mutual friends. It wasn't until they entered the same Master's degree program that they became friends themselves. Now it's brunchin' or beers over classroom talk!

Marshall is an Army infantry captain in Southern Pines, North Carolina. At the Virginia Military Institute, Marshall and Erik were assigned as roommates freshman year. They became friends while enduring the rigors of the first year and have remained close ever since.

Emily is a graduate student in Boulder, Colorado. They officially became cousins when her mother married Kassandra's uncle. Despite being in separate states for most of their childhood, they have grown up bonding over similar tastes in music and TV shows.

Zach is a graduate student in Tampa Bay, Florida. Zach and Erik first became friends junior year through the high school wrestling team. They bonded through TV references and late night shenanigans.

Matt is a software engineer in the DC area. Erik and Matt met junior year of high school, but truly became friends after seeing the movie Grindhouse. They further strengthened their friendship through video games and AP US History.
