Looking back, we can clearly see the Lord’s hand in our story. What feels so natural now was being woven together long before we realized it. In 2023, a dear family friend connected to both of our families felt prompted to introduce us. A few almost-meetups never quite worked out, but the timing simply wasn’t right. Two years later, our paths finally crossed. Sadie was back in Bigfork for the summer, and Caleb had just started his full-time job in Whitefish. Caleb took matters into his own hands and called her for coffee. From there, we stepped back into our busy lives, quietly trusting that if it was meant to be, it would find a way. Later that summer, we both happened to be at a Scotty McCreery concert at the Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo. Caleb spotted Sadie in the crowd, reached out, and that’s where our story truly began. Our second date brought us back to the rodeo grounds, and we spent the rest of the summer soaking in late Montana days as they slowly turned into fall. Since then, it’s been steady growth, adventure, and a lot of laughter. Caleb asked Sadie to marry him on top of a mountain peak in Montana, a place that feels fitting for the life we’re building together. We’re so grateful for the way God brought us together in His perfect timing, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most.
