We were introduced by a mutual friend we didn't know we had. Kristen saw something that took us just a little while longer to see. However, she was right and we fell in love pretty quickly. Our first meeting was at a karaoke bar and neither of us were initially attracted to the other. But we started out talking on the phone a lot and I fell in love with his heart before I developed a physical attraction to him.
At our second year of Electric Forest, our beloved annual Music Festival, we had planned to do a little spiritual wedding at a chapel they had in the woods. I had no idea that he was actually planning on proposing. Everyone was in on it. We went through our whole little wedding ceremony and at the very end, right before the man in the top hat was to announce us husband and wife, Naz got down on one knee and proposed. I was stunned. It was absolutely perfect!
We originally planned our wedding for September 26, 2020, but Covid changed all that. We were forced to change our plans. We decided we didn't want to wait to get married, so we had a small, intimate, backyard ceremony at Nazary's parents' house. Only our immediate family and bridal party were there. It was a truly magical day.
