There will be signs at turns once you get close to the venue to help you find your way!
There will be a table for gifts, a box for cards. And a honeymoon fund donation jar at the wedding. The couple is registered on Amazon, Walmart and Honeyfund (where you can choose to give gift cards or donate to the honeymoon online). Anything is greatly appreciated!
Anything casual, or casual dressy is fine! The groom and groomsmen will be wearing jeans, so jeans are fine for guests as well. But just remember - dress like you’re coming to a wedding!
Guests should begin to arrive around 3:15-3:30. The ceremony will begin at 4pm sharp and will not wait for anyone to arrive. Arriving around 3:15 or 3:30 will give you time to put any gifts on the table, mingle a little bit and find a seat before the ceremony begins.
PLEASE be sure to RSVP either by phone, text, Facebook, or on here to let us know ahead of time if you will be able to attend or not. We hope you can share our big day with us, but if not we understand. There will only be enough food, drinks, seats, etc for those who RSVP. Please be sure to include everyone that will attend with you as well!
Parking is available on site, just follow the LONG gravel driveway and you’ll see the beautiful cabin once you come around the last curve. Once you get up close to the house, there will be signs showing where to park!
As the couple have children, whom will of course be there for their parents big day, children are definitely allowed to come as well. PLEASE keep in mind that there are two ponds on the property, so you must keep an eye on your children at all time. The bride and groom nor the owners of the wedding venue are responsible for injuries.
As of right now we plan to have an outdoors wedding, only the inside of the venue will be used for the food tables and bathroom. The wedding party will be using the main floor to get ready on, so we ask everyone to use the lower level (doors are accessible from the side of the cabin where the pond is) bathroom if needed. Please do not let children run around inside. Parents will be held accountable for any damages if anything is broken by their children.
There will be food at the reception, which will be located on the same property that the ceremony is held. There will be Tea, Water and Lemonade provided for drinks. If you wish to drink any alcoholic beverages, please bring what you would like to enjoy while at the reception as well. So BYOB y’all!
Of course there will be dancing. We will have a dj set up for the first dances and we hope you join us in celebrating by dancing the night away!
Please feel free to contact the bride if you have any further questions or concerns!
