When should I arrive?

Answer

Wedding events will occur on Thursday and Friday. We recommend arriving Wednesday night or Thursday morning and staying through the weekend to make the most out of your trip to Miami. There are only formal events scheduled on Thursday and Friday but we hope to meet up with others throughout the weekend or host guests at our rental home as available.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Miami has many options for accommodations for all party sizes and budgets. We have listed suggestions for budget conscious, moderate, and luxury hotel stays. Hotel blocks will be available as we get closer to the event date. Please see the travel page for discount codes. If you are traveling with a larger group or want to room with friends we highly recommend looking for a house rental on Airbnb or VRBO.

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The weather in Miami this time of year is beautiful. The temperature in April is historically in the high 70s with plenty of sunshine during the day and, if we're lucky, a cool breeze in the evening. We encourage summer formal attire, long gowns and suits preferred. Black tie not required but welcome. The ceremony and reception are both outdoors.

I've never been to Miami, what should I do on Saturday or Sunday?

Answer

Miami is a wonderful vacation venue. Besides spending the day at the beach or by the pool soaking up the sun, there are limitless dining and activity options. If you enjoy walking around we highly recommend visiting the Wynwood and Little Havana neighborhoods. If you like museums or art galleries the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is beautiful, as is the Perez Art Museum Miami. If you're seeking time in nature, consider a tour of the Everglades or the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens.
