Maurice & I met through friends ;) texting for a little bit - where he first introduced himself to me as Matthew McConaughey 🤪 until we took the leap and went on our first date March 12, 2022 at Armature Works. We felt like we had known each other forever, the conversation was easy with lots in common, especially sports! Things worked out so well I decided I’d let him have a second date (hehe) where we went to The Sail and just sat watching the sunset, but when I was leaving he walked me to my car (such a gentleman) but it was the wrong one LOL (he said to add that it was the same make/model & color)! Our third date was at C House, when we knew this would be a forever thing. I called my mom right after and told her “I really like this guy” and her response was “go slow, don’t rush into things!” Well a week later he met all my friends, then some of my family and 7 months later he moved in! Maurice & I have been through some incredibly difficult times throughout our 3.5 years of dating (especially the first year) but we have also had some of our more favorite memories during that time. As we move into this next stage of life, we are forever grateful to have one another to lean on and cherish no matter what life throws at us. Love you more & cheers to forever! - M & M ♥️
