Our Story
The 5 Year Journey
Joseph and Jenna began to really get to know one another through the 10th-grade lunch tables, before-school locker meet-ups with friends, and Biology class. In September of 2019, Jenna decided to reach out and text Joseph, "Happy Cat day," (knowing Joseph loves cats), which started a whole text chain of laughs and truth-or-dares. Joseph made plans to ask Jenna on an official date in December, but Jenna told him that she could not date yet. At this, Joseph told Jenna he would wait for her...Jenna responded by laughing at him for making such a bold statement. As the world shut down in the Spring of 2020, Joseph met Jenna's parents and asked for their permission to date her. They went on their first date at Sunset Lake, where their story began with a make-shift picnic, Italian sandwiches, and a rainstorm. From the beginning of their relationship to now, they celebrate with gratitude to the Lord for the beautiful relationship He has blessed them with!
