We met through a mutual friend and had an instant connection! We had so many things in common and became friends that eventually grew into so much more. Finally after a little liquid encouragement, David asked me out on a date and I couldn't have been happier. Since then, the love and laughter has been infectious to us and all of our family and friends.
It was a rainy saturday (which David never has off). He made plans with me to spend the day in Charlottesville checking out a few wineries. On the way there, he was driving especially slow that day (anyone would've known something was up). We arrived at Keswick Vineyard and out in the distance I saw the most perfect 'LOVE' sign. We stopped to take a picture infront of it when I noticed a collage of pictures of us from the last 2 years. Speechless, I turned around, and David was on one knee! I couldnt believe what was happening and of course I said YES! He slipped the most perfectly gorgeous ring onto my finger that even on the cloudiest rainy day shined brighter than the sun. All of a sudden, I first see our close mutual friend, taking pictures from afar and then one by one our best friends and family come out from behind the trees where they hid watching the whole thing.
