We met in 2019 at our warehouse job! We’d been following each other on instagram for a while but never really had a full conversation. Dylan found out where Johnae worked and applied, and once they saw each other in person there was an instant connection. We started hanging out on our lunch breaks and eventually started to go on dates outside of work. Our first date was at Dave & Busters and after that we lost connection for a while. Johnae invited Dylan to her 21st birthday party and after that, we became a couple 3 days later. Ever since then, we’ve been on our journey of life together, had a beautiful son, and now we are getting married!

It was the day our son Jacobi was getting dedicated at church. All of our close friends and family were there for this celebration but little did Johnae’ know, this was the day of her proposal as well! After Jacobi got dedicated, every one started to trickle away while church was still going on, leaving Johnae’ confused and ALONE in church lol! Everyone was outside setting up this beautiful proposal for Johnae’ to come out to. When church was over, Robin ( Johnae’s Mom ) blindfolded her and put her in the car with her. They drove around the corner from the church and she told Johnae it was a “surprise photo shoot”! Robin and Jurnee ( Johnae’s Sister ) got her out of the car and walked her up to a field where their family and friends were waiting for her with roses and her fiancé Dylan on one knee asking for her hand in marriage!
