I would like to say our beautiful couple’s story was love at first sight…but I would be lying. No, Alicia and Anthony’s story was a bit different. (Suspenseful effect..dun-dun-dun) I, the Narrator, was never very good at telling stories so here is my best recap… I am sure all of us can understand how an overall perfect and proud Aggie woman, wouldn’t find an equally proud and intelligent Longhorn as, “The One”, but little did she know this Longhorn was going to show her a whole new world (IYKYK). It all started on August 2nd, 2021, when Alicia was starting her first day at her brand new store in San Antonio, SA39. Being the overachiever that she was, she was determined to meet as many people as she could on her first day. One of those people was…you guessed it, our Groom, Anthony. Anthony was a store leader at SA39 at the time. He was discussing strategy with a few team members when he was interrupted by some bubbly new manager from A&M he had heard was starting at the store. However, he was presently surprised by how genuine she was and her natural confidence. Their careers at the time were more pressing than they had ever been, so they didn’t even pay attention to each other. The time was just not right yet, but GOD has his plans… Fast-forward a few months later, Alicia was now getting promoted into the company’s leadership development program and was getting moved. As all her peers were recognizing her for all the great work she had done at the store, Anthony was shook with her influence she created, and his curiosity peaked. As she was leaving he wished her well, but not without letting her know that he knew all the best places in San Antonio if she ever wanted to hang out. Surprisingly, to Anthony at least, she accepted. They went on their first date to a bar called Hoppymonk. Reluctantly, Anthony did very well on the first date, so he got a second date at Ice House where they played Ping-Pong and pool, until Alicia wanted tacos from Fuego. Lastly, the date that sealed the deal was their third date at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, where Alicia had to hold Anthony’s hand on every ride. They both had a feeling that they soon realized was the reality setting in that… (Now I can say all the cheesy lines) They had found their soul mate! They had found true love! They would be together…always and forever! And the rest is history…
