We’re getting married!

Jacob and Makailah met online (like most modern day relationships). They talked for a few months before they made it official. The past five years have been filled with ups, downs, distance, and growth. They are so excited to start this journey as one, rather than two. They thank God everyday for having someone who loves them so, so much.

Jacob popped the question to Makailah the day after her 22nd birthday. He took her to the spot he first fell in love with her, the Stateline Drive-In Theater. He had candles lit up to the spot they always parked in every time they went, and rose petals surrounding them as he asked her to be his forever.

Makailah is pursuing her Masters of Education at East Tennessee State University in the summer of 2022. She will then graduate in the year of 2024. Jacob will graduate in 2023 with his Master’s of Business Administration. They plan to move away from the tri-cities area to see what the world has to offer them.
