FAQs

Question

What time do the festivities start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. We kindly ask you to arrive 20-30 minutes early to mingle with other guests before the "I do's!" The venue will open to our guests starting at 4:15pm! The venue entrance is a little difficult to find so we recommend allowing plenty of time to find Highgrove so you don't miss The Future Mrs. Auel walking down the aisle to her best friend!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire within a formal dress code. No jeans, please!

Question

Where should I stay the night of the wedding?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate our special day with us! Please visit our "Travel" tab to see the hotel(s) recommended. The Holiday Inn Express has provided a discounted rate within our wedding block. Be sure to mention "Auel Wedding" when calling to ensure you get the discounted rate!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones dearly, this will be an adult only celebration. We hope you take this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. We promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible! After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want (you know the Bride and her mom love them some photos)!!!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will be greatly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.
