FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brea Murphy and Dr. Scott Fraser
If you have any other questions than what is listed here, please don't hesitate to reach out to either one of us! We want everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 12th Even if you cannot make it we ask that you RSVP "will not attend." If you have already RSVP'd "attending," but find that you will not make it, please text us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress to impress us! Ex. Pastel/Spring/fun colors, textures, dresses that touch below the knee, dress pants, sports coat, suit We ask at the minimum please no denim/jeans, shorts, rips in pants, or dresses above the knee.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP. Reach out to us with any questions.

Question

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

It is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count. If we do not receive your RSVP by April 12, then we will reach out to you. If we continue not to hear from you, it will be marked as "unable to attend." Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask all guests to arrive by 4:00-4:15 pm. This will allow time to find parking, walk through the venue, grab a welcome cocktail, and find your seat outside.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night! Exceptions can be made; we just hope that guests ask.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Transporation will not be provided but there are always Lyfts and Ubers in Evansville. If you have been drinking and don't have these apps, please ask the ECC staff or someone in the bridal party to help you set it up. We want all of our loved ones to make it home safe!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! We will have cocktails named after the dogs, along with beer and wine.
