Our Story
Jenna and Josiah's love story kicked off in fall 2021 when Josiah, fresh to Virginia and starting his clinical fellowship, met Jenna at the elementary school where she worked. Jenna thought Josiah was cute but assumed he was gay—thanks to his theater background—and figured she wasn’t his type. So, they kept things professional, which was fine since Jenna had no idea she was missing out.
Spring 2023 rolled around, and Jenna spotted Josiah on a dating app. No longer coworkers? Swipe right! Their first date went extremely well and soon they were spending as much time together as possible.
From NYC to Vancouver Canada, their adventures included Jenna dragging Josiah to an ABBA disco and Josiah forcing Jenna to watch a 10 hour long mini series about Fairytale creatures. In March 2024, under a starry sky, Josiah popped the question, and Jenna said yes. They moved in together, and Josiah embraced his new role as “cat dad.” Now, they’re ready to start their next chapter as husband and wife!
