Where is the wedding venue located?

Answer

The name of the venue is The Farm at Coochs Bridge, located at 1771 Old Coochs Bridge Rd, Newark, DE 19702. The ceremony and reception will be at the same location.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. The ceremony will take place on grass, so please keep that in mind when choosing your shoes (women - possibly avoid pointy heels). We’d love for women to incorporate summer floral colors into their outfits to match the season and celebration!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! After the ceremony, guests will be invited to enjoy a fun-filled cocktail hour while we take photos. There will be delicious stationary and butlered hors d'oeuvres as well as refreshments. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors at the venue, under the Douglas Fir Pavilion.

Will dinner be plated or buffet style?

Answer

Dinner will be at the venue on the second floor, following the cocktail hour. Dinner will be served buffet-style, catered by Mission BBQ.

Can I bring a date or plus-one?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with our invited guests! Plus-ones are included only for those whose invitations are addressed to them and a guest(s). If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be reflected on your RSVP.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones (especially pediatric nurse Karleigh), only the guests listed on the invitation are included in the celebration. If your children are invited, their names will be included on your invitation and RSVP.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If it rains, our ceremony and reception will both take place indoors on the second floor of the venue. Rain or shine, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Does the venue have on-site parking?

Answer

Yes, the venue has free on-site parking and an attendant will be present to monitor the lot during the event.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! The outdoor ceremony and indoor reception spaces can be reached either by steps or the venue’s indoor elevator.

Question

Do you have a registry or list of desired gifts? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! But yes, we’re registered at Target, Amazon, and Zola. Please see the registry tab on our wedding website for further details. If you’d like to bring a gift, there will be a designated gift table at the reception.
