Here you will find information helpful to getting to Sandpoint and where to stay.

Flight

Spokane International Airport (GEG)

The closest major airport to Sandpoint is Spokane International Airport (GEG) in Spokane, WA. From there, Sandpoint is about a 90 minute drive. The drive is straightforward and scenic - just follow US95 north. We recommend planning transportation ahead of time to ensure a smooth and comfortable arrival.

Getting Around Town and to the Mountain

SPOT is the FREE local bus, with routes and stops in Sandpoint, neighboring towns and a Schweitzer connection. Buses circle two routes every hour. To get to Schweitzer Mountain you'll need to take the SPOT bus from downtown Sandpoint (the stop closest to the Cedar Street Hotel is 3rd & Oak) to the Red Barn Park/Ride on the Blue line, which provides direct access to the mountain. You can then take the free Mountain Express shuttle service from the Red Barn to Schweitzer Village.
