How We Met

August 18, 2010

Kaitie and Kyle met in high school in 2010. They were in different grades but had a Spanish class together. Kyle thought Kaitie was so beautiful he wrote her a note asking her out on the first day he saw her. She of course said no they should be friends and get to know each other. When they first started to hang out at lunch they had a lot in common like dipping fries in ketchup & mayo, reading books, and music.

The First Big Leap

September 16, 2011

Over time Kaitie and Kyle grew close as they found out that they shared more and more things in common. Kyle loved to explore in the woods and Kaitie loved to spot all the animals that it hid. She loved riding horses, he grew up on a farm. He taught her to slow down and enjoy life, she taught him to focus and that a little planing never hurts. They helped each other heal from the scars of the past. After a year of being best friends they decided to risk it all and start dating. If it ended badly they could both loose the best friends they ever had.

Movin' In

January 2015

It's hard making relationships work. It takes a lot of hard work, reflection on yourself, and compromises. They rode the wave of life, going through the ups and downs, but always knowing the good times weren't far off. They went on adventures and traveled to beautiful places. After being together through so much, they decided that it was time to see if they could make it work living together. Then after a year or so of living together they both decided that it was time to start talking about getting married. Kyle designed a ring with Kaities mom that was so unique and perfect for her. Then he started planning the perfect way to propose to surprise her.

Proposing

November 12, 2016

He took Kaitie downtown to 'celebrate' his moms birthday. They started walking to the restaurant but he said he knew a shortcut to get there quicker. He led her into a beautiful building where their families were waiting for them. They were all holding signs that read together, "Will you marry me?" She immediately said yes. They hugged and he whispered in her ear, "I thought I would be able to think of something to say, but I'm speechless, which should speak for itself." Then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Right as she said yes bells rang in the background. (No seriously that happened, it was exactly 5:00)
