Question

What if I am not Catholic?

Answer

Our Catholic faith grounds us and is the foundation of our marriage. We invite you to attend mass even if you are not Catholic. Our desire is for you to witness our vows to one another in the true presence of our God during the mass. Please be respectful when entering and exiting the church. If you are not Catholic, please do not receive the Eucharist. During communion, you may cross your arms over your chest and receive a blessing. If you are baptized in the Catholic Church and believe and know that Jesus is fully present in the Eucharist, we remind one another to receive the sacrament of Confession before receiving the Eucharist.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want to uphold the reverence of the mass and we want you to feel comfortable. We prefer that all men wear suits and all women wear full-length formal dresses.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified on your formal invitation. Have someone special you really want to bring? We would love to hear from you!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We wish everyone could come, but please only bring your children if indicated on your formal invitation.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the "Stay in Nashville" tab on our website. We have reserved rooms at three different, amazing locations!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

If you know how much John Thomas sweats, you'll be happy to know our wedding mass and reception are indoors! Our cocktail hour will be outdoors if the weather permits.
