We met one Friday night outside of Ryan's apartment at Assumption College. It was my freshman year and it was Ryan's senior year. I was talking to one of my classmates from my Psychology class when all of a sudden Ryan pulled me away from him and stated that I should be talking to him instead. Ryan and I spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other, we instantly clicked. Ryan walked me home to my dorm, like a gentlemen. The next morning Ryan showed up at my dorm and asked me to go out for breakfast with him. We spent the next month going on a variety of dates and hanging out on the weekends. One of my favorite memories of this time is when Ryan used to show up outside of my classes to give me an iced coffee and to walk me to my next class. We finally made it official on January 27th of 2014 (:
Ryan planned a New York get away for us right before Christmas. I had never seen New York during the Christmas time and Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. We spent the day exploring New York: seeing Times Square, Central Park and the Empire State Building. We were waiting for it to get dark to go and see the Rockafella Center Tree. When we got to Rockafella Ryan spotted a spot for people to get professional pictures taken in front of the tree. We waited in line, watching the Sacs building light show. It was finally our turn to take our picture and after the first picture we went to change poses and that is when Ryan knelt down on one knee to ask me to marry him! I cried and of course answered "YES"! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Fall 2020 (:
