As much as we love children, our wedding is for adults 21+ only. We want our wedding to be your night off! The resort, however, is kid friendly so if you would like to make it a family vacation that is up to you! We will be looking into available childcare for the ceremony and reception if needed.
A wedding in which cell phones and cameras are not to be used at any point during the ceremony. Why 1. Keeps the focus on the couple 2. Creates a more intimate atmosphere 3. Enhances the emotional experience of it all 4. Gives the photographer an unobstructed shot
If you choose to stay at a different resort please be aware that there is $150 day pass fee person, you will need to pay to attend the wedding. Also keep into consideration the resort is far from most locations in Antigua, you will also need transportation to and from the resort.
Please read the follow to better explain beach formal attire for the ceremony and reception. Women Dresses, gowns, suits, formal rompers, and jumpsuits are all acceptable. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. If you choose to wear a beachy dress, consider it in either tea-length or maxi to avoid looking too casual. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. Not permitted: Flip flops, sun hats, Tie Dye, the color white/cream/ivory/beige, sun dresses, shorts, or denim. Below are a few suggestions we think would be a great fit! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3CKRAJ4NJKRHY?ref_=wl_share Men 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve button down with slacks or suits are acceptable. While a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Shoes can be a little more casual, but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck/boat shoe. Antigua is relatively crime free, but exercise normal precautions; i.e. don’t leave valuables unattended in rental cars or on the beach. Place your valuables and travel documents in your room safe. Keep your guest room doors and windows locked, especially at night and when you are not in the room.
The official currency of Antigua is the Eastern Caribbean dollar which is fixed to the US dollar. A recent exchange rate was US$1.00 = EC$2.70. US currency, travelers checks and major credit cards are welcome everywhere.
Antigua is in the Atlantic Standard Time zone, one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time and the same as Eastern Daylight Time. Atlantic Standard Time is four hours behind GMT.
Elegantly casual. Beach attire is appropriate for the beach but not town, shops or restaurants. Most restaurants stipulate collar shirts and long pants for men and pant suits or dresses for women in the evening.
