September 21st, 2016 - Our first date. There were a lot of nerves, one life changing high-five and we've been together since. October 2017 - Cory became Sushi (dog) and Katie's roommate. We had our favorite Uptown food spots, the best neighbors anyone could ask for, and made ourselves a perfect, rented home for a few years. April 2020 - We bought a house and moved into the Lil' Blue during a nation wide lockdown. The world was hurting, everything was scary and strange, but we had our own backyard and a lot of painting to do, so staying home together felt doable. October 2020 - We decided to grow our family and got Sushi a furry brother, Tuna. We did not ask for her input. February 13th, 2021 - Katie was suspicous of Cory putting on jeans just to get coffee, which we do every weekend in sweats, but Cory convinced her it wasn't that weird. Then Katie's latte appeared with a ring box on top, Cory dropped to one knee, Katie said yes, and then we went couch shopping, happily ever after. August 20th, 2021 - Not really having dreamt of a big, fancy wedding, Katie (and the global pandemic) convinced Cory that 'Grindle', her grandparent's cottage, was the perfect venue. Because Cory had fallen just as in love with the place, and with Katie, he agreed to the idea. We were married on the lake, in the woods, with a few of our closest friends and family, and it could not have been more perfect. Ocotber 1st, 2022 - This is the part where you come to celebrate with us. See you soon!
