What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out this fall with instructions for RSVP on our website. If you are from out of town, and do not think you will be able to make it to our wedding in Arizona, or plan on attending the Wichita BBQ instead, feel free to let us know as soon as possible so that we may plan ahead. Thank you!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be invited adults only. Thank you for your understanding.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

The name of each guest invited to attend will be listed on your invitation, and plus ones will be specified while RSVPing on our website. We will not be able to accommodate additional plus-ones or other guests at our Saturday wedding ceremony and reception.

What is the address of the wedding venue?

Answer

Desert Foothills Events in Scottsdale does not have a physical address. The ranch property is located off Jomax Ave. From the 101, head north on Scottsdale Road, then make a left on Jomax. After about a 1/4 mile, you will make another left onto the property. The property entrance is marked with a metal yellow coyote sign. Follow the unpaved road to the Valet attendants.

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the venue at 4:45pm to ensure that our wedding can begin on time at 5pm! There will be valet attendants at the entrance of the venue to assist with parking.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be complimentary Valet Parking on site at our venue. The venue is on a desert road south of Jomax Road. Follow the signs to the valet station located at the front of the venue.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We recommend grabbing an Uber or Lyft to and from the wedding venue. Please be sure to tell your driver to drive all the way to the valet station for drop off, please do not get dropped off on Jomax Rd. There will be arranged group transportation at 10:15pm for those that want to join for the after party bar located near the wedding venue.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested at our wedding...think elegant western rustic meets spring garden party! For our female guests, we strongly discourage thin, stiletto type heels due to the natural desert grounds.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. If needed, please go to the Desert Foothills Events website to see the indoor/outdoor feel of the venue. https://desertfoothills.com/

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We prefer that our guests refrain from snapping photos during our wedding ceremony. We have hired a photographer to capture the day, and we will share these photos with family and friends who request to see them. Otherwise, we are ok with photos from the rest of the evening posted to social media!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have opted not to create a registry, but if you wish give us a gift to celebrate our wedding, you may do so through https://www.zola.com/wedding/foleyvogelwedding/registry. Your thoughtfulness and generosity mean the world to us!

Will there be an after party location?

Answer

We will head to Tailgaters (28234 N Tatum Blvd Cave Creek AZ 85331) directly after the wedding. Tailgaters is located 10 minutes from the Desert Foothills Venue.
