Things To Do

We went on some of our first dates in Dunedin and have spent a lot of time exploring this fun area so we thought we would share some of our favorite spots with you!

Honeymoon Island State Park

1 Causeway Boulevard, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 241-6106

Honeymoon Island State Park is a beautiful beach and nature preserve right on the outside of town. There are hiking trails and of course plenty of white sandy beach front real estate if the weather is feeling beachy!

Caladesi Island State Park

Offshore Island, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 469-5918

This beautiful island paradise is only accessible by ferry and truly a little hidden Florida gem! Consistently named in the top 10 beaches in the US, it's not to be missed! The Caladesi Island Ferry runs every day beginning at 10 am.

HEW Parlor & Chophouse

453 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 683-5990

Even if you're not staying at the Fenway for our wedding weekend you should plan to visit HEW, the restaurant on the hotel property is amazingly delicious (and they have a great brunch, too)! We have used "wedding research" as an excuse to eat here often since they opened last year!

Sea Sea Riders Restaurant

221 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 734-1445

One of our favorite restaurants in Dunedin is Sea Sea Riders (and we highly recommend the conch fritters if they're in season)! It's fairly casual and has a great bar, so definitely plan to stop in for a snack and drink while you're exploring Dunedin!

Pearly's Beach Eats

903 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 601-5610

If you want one of the best fish tacos around this is the place! Pearly's is a locally owned gem that is just the perfect vacation spot (and insider tip, snag the $3 tacos and $3 beer they offer daily from 3pm-6pm, it's a great and delicious deal)!

Bike Trail 🚲

Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail, Dunedin, FL 34698

Renting bikes is a great way to get around town and see the sites! There are a few bike rental locations scattered around town, and if you're staying at the Fenway they have bikes you can borrow!

Dunedin Brewery

937 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 736-0606

Dunedin Brewery was a favorite of ours when we started dating, they have live music on the weekends and an amazing menu so you can make a whole night of it! It's just a block of Main Street so it's a great place for an after dinner brew, too!

Hog Island Fish Camp

900 Broadway Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 736-1179

A Dunedin local favorite serving seafood comfort dishes, like shrimp and grits, crab dip, and fried grouper sandwiches, this is one to add to your list for authentic Florida food, and it's super casual and great for lunch!

The Black Pearl of Dunedin

315 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698
, (727) 734-3463

The Black Pearl is the best spot for an elegant five-star dining experience in a charming spot on Main Street. If you're looking for an upscale night out this is the place!
